Our brain and body need different. We’ve all heard the saying “What fires together wires together.” Because of this, we have more agency and power than we may currently realize. And changing our current physical and mental experience is possible.

I see the power of doing differently in large part by looking to my body and knowing I have an upper body and it's different from the lower body and serves a different function. That my right side is different from my left, and that front is different from the back of my body. 

How could there be a right way when there are inherently so many differences?  Having these distinctions and differentiated functions would be meaningless without connectivity.  In my teaching, I have guiding principles rather than hard and fast rules. Do Different is definitely one of my guiding principles.

We’ll be exploring differing relationships, intentions, directions, etc through movement over the next 21 days.
